Dean Klisura

President and CEO

Dean is President and Chief Executive Officer of Marsh Re (formerly Guy Carpenter), and Vice Chair of Marsh.

Dean has more than three decades of insurance industry experience. Prior to joining Marsh Re in 2020, he held a number of executive roles at Marsh Risk, including President of Global Placement, Specialties and Advisory Services. Dean joined the company in 1993. Dean began his career with Chubb, and his last position was in the Executive Protection department.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Blue Marble, an organization that develops insurance protection for the underserved, and The Institutes Knowledge Group, which is dedicated to helping the risk management and insurance industries better serve the public. Dean holds a BS in finance from Santa Clara University.

Anyone can do a transaction. We are that strategic partner in the C-suite, who provides insights and advice to help our clients navigate macro risks like pandemic, cyber, climate change and wildfires.
