Neil Mayer

Chief Operating Officer

Neil Mayer is the Chief Operating Officer for Marsh Re (formerly Guy Carpenter), and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. In this role, he oversees the Client Support Services, Digital Enablement, Data Strategy and Central Operations teams, as well as leads the firm’s AI strategy.

Most recently, Neil held the position of Chief Operating Officer, North America, where he was responsible for all operations, strategy, and broker support relating to the US and Canada businesses. Prior to this, he was the Global Head of Strategy & Transformation, where he worked closely with the Executive Committee to define and implement the strategic direction of the company. Previously, Neil was a senior member of the Marsh M&A/Corporate Development team.

Prior to joining Marsh in 2010, Neil was with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Neil holds a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
