New York, October 5, 2023—Guy Carpenter, a leading global risk and reinsurance specialist and a business of Marsh McLennan, today announced the appointment of Blake Dimitrijevic as Head of Capital Advisory, Asia Pacific. Effective immediately, Mr. Dimitrijevic is based in Hong Kong SAR and reports to Tony Gallagher, CEO of Guy Carpenter Asia Pacific.
In this role, Mr. Dimitrijevic will lead Guy Carpenter’s Asia Pacific Capital Advisory team, which supports clients with complex capital and funding needs across the region. The Capital Advisory team provides a range of client solutions and advisory services including regulatory and rating agency, asset and liability management, portfolio optimization, and reinsurance to support M&A, as well as solutions to help improve clients’ capital fungibility and return on equity.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, Mr. Dimitrijevic was the Head of Property & Casualty Business Management, Asia Pacific, at Swiss Re. During his 17-year career with the business, Mr. Dimitrijevic worked in numerous senior leadership roles in Asia and London across non-life, life and health, structured solutions, and group treasury functions.
