In this video interview with AM Best TV during the Verisk Insurance Conference, Guy Carpenter’s Lauren Cornell, Vice President, North America Catastrophe Advisory, talks about how working in an inclusive, welcoming environment has been important for her as she pursues her career.
“A lot of my role models have talked about the benefits of servant leadership, where you lift people up along with you,” she said. “Learning from them that it’s important to ask questions of people of all levels of seniority, to understand their problems, and to build that level of trust. This goes on to create a supportive and positive work environment for everybody.”
