Dean Klisura

Dean is President and Chief Executive Officer of Guy Carpenter, a Marsh business, responsible for all of Guy Carpenter’s businesses and operations globally, and Vice Chair of Marsh.

Dean has significant insurance industry experience. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter in 2020, he held a number of executive roles at Marsh (now Marsh Risk), including President of Global Placement, Specialties and Advisory Services. Dean joined the company in 1993.  Dean began his career with Chubb, and his last position was in the Executive Protection department in San Francisco.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of Blue Marble, an organization that develops insurance protection for the underserved, and The Institutes Knowledge Group, which is dedicated to helping the risk management and insurance industries better serve the public. Dean holds a BS in finance from Santa Clara University.
