As part of the Connecticut Insurance Department’s Conference on Climate Change and Insurance, Guy Carpenter’s Jonathan “Jake” Clark, Managing Director, US Public Sector, joined Resilience in Action-Implementation, a panel of experts in insurance and the public sector.
The panel discussed efforts underway to establish broader public-private partnerships that enhance community resilience and address challenges associated with climate, risk and sustainability. Participants also provided perspective on evolving technology and the role risk transfer can play in creating more resilient households and communities, while improving equity in recovery from disasters.
